JAMMU, Dec 22: MLA R.S Pura and Political advisor to State BJP President Dr.Gagan Bhagat conducted an extensive tour of R.S Pura Constituency and inspected pace of various ongoing developmental works in the border Constituency.
During his tour, the M.L.A visited the Villages Phinder ,Gazipur Kullian, Kirpind,Makhanpur Gujran Chak Bala, Kalyana Gagian and inspected Chohala Morh to Salehar road being macadamized to connect twin blocks of R.S Pura and Bishnah .On its completion the road would provide connectivity to about 50,000 people of the area. Dr.Gagan Bhagat also inspected work on R.S Pura, Dablehar and Arnia Road which was taken up by B.R.O.
He was accompanied by the X-En P.W.D Mohd.Abdullah, A.E.E P.W.D Arvind Langeh, B.D.O R.S Pura Sanchi Mishra, E.O R.S Pura Jodhraj ,B.R.O Officials,S.D.P.O R.S Pura Harjeet Singh,S.H.O R.S Pura Bhushan Manhas and others. He Inaugurated Rs. 5 lacs developmental work at Village Panchyat Chak Bala under B.A.D.P which was a long pending demand of the inhabitants of the village. Besides the developmental works were started at village Phinder, Gagian and Kalyana Plots where amount of Rs. 12 lacs, Rs. 2 lacs and Rs.4 lacs will be spent respectively through various schemes including C.D.S, MGNREGA, Convergence and B.A.D.P, the works were very important as the area where these were started has been constantly overlooked by the previous Government for one or other reasons.
Giving details of the developmental works started by the present coalition Government, Dr.Gagan informed that the 10 km road taken up for Macadamization is not the end and it is the beginning and in the coming one and a half year all the roads falling under R.S Pura Constituency will be mecadmised which were completely ignored by the previous Government.
The Legislator also announced the up gradation of Kullian to Laswara road under Central Road Fund, and the work will be started very soon.
