KUPWARA, Aug 11: Qaziabad Development Initiative (QDI) chairman, Mohd Munawar Khawaja here today said that political tussle between District Development Council (DDC) Chairman and Block Development Council (BDC) has halted the developmental progress in Langate constituency especially in Qaziabad Block.
In a handout Khawaja said that fight between DDC chairman and BDC has not only stopped the process of development but has also halted the process of approvals from the office of Assistant Commissioner Development.
He urged the higher authorities of Union Territory and DDC, Imam Din to intervene in this matter so that halted process may get approved and general public may not suffer.
Khawaja also said that youth has responsibility to make Panchayati Raj Institutions accountable.
