JAMMU, July 11: JMC Deputy Mayor, Purnima Sharma here today inspected Dhountly Dhakki area in her Ward number-1 as there is a Vishal Bhandara at Balram Ji temple near PHE Ground Water Division on August 18.
Talat Mehmood Khan, Chief Transport Officer JMC; Gulshan, Arun Nayyar and Kaka, all Sanitary Supervisors also accompanied the Deputy Mayor.
During inspection it was found that sanitation preparations have already been started and a deep drain there required de-silting.
The Deputy Mayor ordered for deployment of men for de-silting purpose.
She also inspected the working condition of lights and found majority of them functional while few were out of order.
The Deputy Mayor directed the Health Officer to install dustbins near Bhandara area and asked the locals to keep their Ward clean by not throwing garbage in lanes, drains and Nallahs.
She also conducted meeting with different engineers and discussed various ongoing developmental works and new projects that are going to be started.
