JAMMU, Feb 3: A deputation of VRS/GHS employees of SRTC today met Speaker, J&K Legislative Assembly, Kavinder Gupta, and put forth their demands.
The demands put forth by the deputation led by association president, Dev Raj Bali, included removing difference of leave salary gratuity, release of 2nd installment of ex-gratia from Transport Department, Civil Secretariat, Jammu, besides release of 6th Pay Commission arrears with effect from January 2006 and pending COLA arrears with effect from 1999.
The Speaker assured the deputation that their demands will be highlighted at higher level to fulfill them at the earliest.
Mohd Ashraf, Zahoor Ahmed, Surinder Singh, Balwinder Singh, JD Singh, Bindravan Sharma, Kulbir Singh and many others were part of the deputation.
