JAMMU, Feb 12: A deputation of various Kashmiri Pandit Organizations (KPOs) led by M K Yogi, president, National Conference Minority Cell called on Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner R K Pandita and discussed burning issue confronting the community.
The deputation discussed the issue of procedure for medical reimbursement for Kashmiri ailing migrants; encroachment of migrant’s property in Valley, one time compensation for over aged youth, compensation for traders, industrialist and agriculturalist, online issuance of RBA certificate, pending ex-gratia to migrants.
PM’s Employment Package was also discussed at length and the members of the various organizations stressed that employment package should be implemented in letter and sprit. The speakers also demanded that youth may also be absorbed in the Central Government Department. The delegation also appealed to the Governor and Central Government to look into the matter.
Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner assured the delegation that he has taken up some issues with the concerned authorities already and will take other issue with concerned authorities immediately for their early redressal.
It also demanded share in employment be given to those Pandit youth who are staying in Valley and did not migrate.
The delegation was accompanied by H N Jattu, Bushan Lal Bhat, Chuni Lal Bhat, M N Pandita, Shadi Lal Pandita, Satish Panju, A K Rajpori, Rakesh Koul, Chuni Lal Kandi, Roshan Lal Raina, Ravi Tickoo, Pintooji, Bal Krishen Bhat, Amit Koul, Ashwani Bhat, Roshan Lal Bhat, P L Talashi, Shubanji Pandita and Roshan Lal Bhat.
