JAMMU, June 7: A deputation of JDA Housing Colony Welfare Association Roop Nagar, Jammu comprising of J N Ralli, B K Sharma, K R Baghnathia, N L Bhat and Kulbushan Sharma led by Uttam Deep Sharma met RTO Jammu and presented a memorandum to him highlighting the problems being faced by the residents of the Colony.
The deputationists demanded a matador service connecting the Colony to other parts of the city saying that without the same they were facing many hardships.
They said that in spite of 35 route permits allotted to the transporters for providing transport facility to the colony the service was denied to the area. The RTO assured the delegation that he would look into the matter.
