POONCH, Dec 25: Crores of rupees are being spent by the Government of India to promote education, but the picture on the ground is something else.
Due to deplorable condition of the Government Middle School in village Adi, the students are being forced to study under open sky during the prevailing winter season.
According to the Headmaster of the school, around 80 students are studying in the institutions. The school is having four rooms–one for teachers and three for students. The condition of the school is deplorable as the floors are damaged and windows and desks are broken.
Due to dilapidated condition of the school, the students are being forced to study under open sky.
The school administration has appealed to the Government to get the school repaired for the convenience of the students and staff during the prevailing winter season.
The students have appealed to the administration to get their school repaired as soon as possible.
SDM Mendhar Sahil Jandial said that the issue will be taken up with concerned authorities for redressal.
