Dental camp for slum children held

JAMMU, May 25: A dental check-up camp was organised at slums of Trikuta Nagar by Plaksha Foundations under the banner of ‘Dant Upchar Aapke Dwar’ in collaboration with Kitab and Kalam Foundation, here today.
Dr Himja Mengi, Dr Shivangi and Dr Kanika were the resource persons and examined the dental health of the children living in the slums and its adjoining areas. The dentists advised the children to brush twice daily and instructed them the proper method of brushing the teeth.
Dr Himja Mengi is regularly organising camps for the underprivileged of the society and appealed that any organisation, school and society who wish to organise a dental check-up and awareness camp can contact her.
