JAMMU, May 25: Akhil Bharatiya Vaishya Maha Sammelan is being held at New Delhi on June 5, 2022, wherein members of the community will participate from all parts of the country.
This was announced during a meeting of Akhil Bharatiya Vaishya Maha Sammelan, J&K UT Unit, held under the chairmanship of President Sham Langar, Working President Dr Shreyansh Kumar Jain, Senior Vice president Devender Seth, General Secretary Virender Gupta and Organizing Secretary Atul Aggarwal.
Maintaining that great personalities like Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi, Bhama Shah, Ram Manohar Lohia and Lala Lajpat Rai were the gift of Vaish society, the meet highlighted contribution of this community in the country’s economy and industry.
Speaking on the occasion, Langar exhorted the Vaish community members to come forward and pledge themselves to lay the foundation stone of the golden future of the community and participate in the growth of this nation.
Working President Dr Shreyansh Kumar Jain lamented that the Vaishya community has been extending financial assistance to the political parties, but issues of the community were never addressed. “These political parties take as for granted. But now we will assert our rights to ensure adequate participation in the political process,” he added.
Devender Seth, while speaking on the occasion, said that in the present context, economic and commercial cooperation of Vaish society was necessary. “We want to be an integral part of the political participation of the country, from which we have been kept away. The main reason for this is that various castes of Vaish society have been kept away. The social upliftment of Vaish society and progress of Vaish society should be emphasized,” he added.
