KATHUA, May 25: Former Forest Minister and senior BJP leader, Ch Lal Singh (MLA) today said that those demanding `unilateral ceasefire’ during the month of Ramzan should hang their heads in shame.
In a press statement issued here today, Ch Lal Singh strongly condemned the grenade attack by militants in Jammu Bus Stand area last night in which four persons including three Policemen were injured. Reacting strongly against those demanding ceasefire during the Holy month of Ramzan, Ch Lal Singh said the `heads of such people’ should hang in shame. It seems the militants do not have any religion and any respect for this Holy month.

Referring to the situation on International Border in Kathua, Samba and Jammu sectors in view of Pakistani shelling, Ch Lal Singh said that the brave Dogas living along borders are acting as first line of defence since long. But these un-armed people have been badly hit with the unprovoked Pak shelling. They moved with the forces shoulder to shoulder during war times.
