This has reference to the article ‘Need for a new Delimitation Commission’ DE Dec 2.
The article was an enlightening experience as it focussed on many contours of the Delimitation Commission. Written lucidly and explained in a common man’s language, it clearly brought home the point it wanted to convey to the readers.
The way Delimitation Commission has been implemented in the State has caused great harm to the interest of Jammu region. It has affected Jammu politically and economically.
To overcome the grevious hurt that has been caused to Jammu region it is better that a new Delimitation, Commission be constituted.
The people here have raised voice in favour of it, but this voice has remained feeble and never grew louder for reasons best known to the Jammu leadership.
