JAMMU, July 2: National Democratic Party Indian (NDPI) J&K has expressed resentment over ignoring of most political parties from Jammu in PM’s all party meeting.
NDPI J&K president, Rajesh Gupta while addressing executive committee meeting of the party here today said NDPI has decided to pursue Delimitation Commission to increase Jammu seats.
“If the government did not invite all Jammu based political parties in meeting with Delimitation Commission then it will be a clear that BJP has no concern with Jammu region and has only agenda to appease Gupkar gang and other Kashmiri leaders,” he maintained.
“Election Commission of India has registered our party and given us the permission to be part and parcel of political process of India,” Gupta claimed adding that every registered political party is the stake holder of political process otherwise there is no question of democracy.
“Delimitation Commission should give proper representation to each stakeholder and take their views,” he said.
Those who attended the meeting were Rajan Sharma, Umesh Manhas, Kuljit Singh, Vinod Mattoo, Sandeep Anand and Shivani Jain.
