Srinagar, Sept 12: Police today arrested a Delhi resident who was supplying banned drugs to the drug peddlers in Srinagar.
A police official said that the main accused identified as Mohammad Asim a resident of Darya Ganj Chawri Bazar Delhi who was supplying drugs to drug peddlers in Srinagar was arrested.
He said the accused was wanted in a case registered by Police Station M R Gunj under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
“Asim is the main supplier of contraband Spasmo-Proxyvon Plus to drug peddlers in Srinagar”, police added.
“During investigation of the Case FIR No. 25 /2023 U/S 8 /22 , 27 (A ) NDPS ACT of MR Gunj PS, the main accused namely Mohd Asim, son of Mohd Tauseef resident of Darya Ganj Chawri Bazar, Delhi was arrested. He is the main supplier of Contraband Spasmo-proxyvon plus to the drug peddlers in Srinagar”, the official said.
