JAMMU, July 22: A delegation of All J&K Plus 2 Lecturers’ Forum called on Deputy Chief Minister Dr Nirmal Singh  under the leadership of its president Kiranjeet Kour and other senior members of the forum and presented him  memorandum.
The delegation apprised and discussed at length various issues concerning Plus 2 community with the  DyCM. Besides other issues, top priority was given to according sanction to Running Grade pattern which has been a long pending demand of the forum and is applicable to all other counterparts working in (8000-13500) pre-revised scale and is also being enjoyed by all non gazetted employees of the departments.  Dr Nirmal Singh agreed with the forum that absence of promotion in a time bound manner leads to stagnation and assured the delegation that he will definitely take up their case with concerned Minister as well as the  CM.
The other burning issue discussed at length was the overall scenario in the School Department with special focus on formation and implementation of a Rationalized Transparent Transfer Policy for want of which various members of the cadre are suffering at far flung areas since long. Dy CM said that this was the need of the hour and he was of the view that all stakeholders including some representatives of the forum must be given due representation in this regard.
Prominent among others in delegation included Anil Sharma, Dr Sushma, R S Slathia, Sanjay Bhagat,  Pardeep Singh, N S Jamwal, Charan Dass, Dr Satvir Gupta,  Deepak Sharma, Joyti Parkash, Talib Hussain and  Joyti Saroop.
