JAMMU, July 22: Surjeet Singh, Baloria a Billiards marker, an employee of J&K State Sports Council, resident of Mullowan Sarthal, Kishtwar received an electric shock and died on spot while taking bath near his quarter at MA Stadium, here today.
This quality marker and a dedicated worker is survived by his wife and two children.
The employees of the State Sports Council expressed great shock over the sad and untimely demise of the employee and prayed to Almighty for bestowing peace to the noble soul and courage to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.
Meanwhile, when contacted, Hirdesh Kumar, Commissioner Secretary, Technical Education and Youth Services and Sports expressed deep shock over this tragedy and said that he will personally enquire about the incident and will ensure that compensation is granted to his family.
