JAMMU, June 25: BJP Health and Medical Cell (HMC) Convener, Puneet Mahajan along with Cell’s State Executive Member and Sarpanch of Panchyat Seri, Makhan Manhas met Director Health Services (DHS) Jammu, Dr. Saleem-ur-Rehman and raised various issues of public importance.
Mahajan projected several demands and issues especially the one pertaining to the construction of new building for establishing Health & Wellness Centre at Sira and for which the land has already been identified by the district administration.
The demand of the staff for the same Centre was also raised.
Dr. Rehman issued necessary directions to the concerned to take necessary action to fulfill the demands.
Mahajan said that Government of India has been working towards transforming the landscape of healthcare in J&K and several new initiatives have been launched in J&K to improve the infrastructure and overall healthcare facilities.
