JAMMU, Jan 22: A delegation of All J&K Power Employees Coordination Committee (JKPECC) here today met Commissioner Secretary PDD, Hirdesh Kumar Singh and raised various demands.
The delegation was led by Committee Chairman, Doulat Ram and it demanded regularisation of employees.
Reacting to this the Commissioner Secretary issued instructions that the regularization process must be expedited on fast track.
The delegation also raised the issue of harassment in investigations after the mishaps with the PDD employees and the Commissioner Secretary voiced to take the issue with Home Department.
Issue of release of ex-gratia @ Rs 3 lakh to the Power employees in case of accidents was also taken up.
The Commissioner Secretary assured to positively look into the demands.
