JAMMU, Jan 1: A delegation of Durga Nagar Welfare Committee here today led by R.L Raina, Committee President met Chief Engineer PHE.
The delegation raised the issue of poor water supply in the area and demanded laying of pipes in Kailashpati lane and correcting the water leaks in the supply pipes along with repairing of the valves.
The Chief Engineer asked his officers to identify JDA land for construction of a new tube-well to meet the water crisis.
He also asked his officers to correct the leaks in supply pipes and solve the problems raised by the delegation.
