Delegation discusses setting up of Donkey Conservation Park with LG

LEH, May 10: A delegation led by Director Organiko-Beautifying Life Pooja Kaul today met Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh RK Mathur and apprised him of proposed establishment of India’s first-ever Donkey Conservation Park at Chuchot Yokma in Leh.
Director Organiko briefed about their venture that makes a variety of skincare products from donkey milk. She apprised the LG about their proposed project called The World of Donkeys by Organiko in Leh and the establishment of Donkey Conservation Park at Chuchot Yokma.
She informed that young women from Leh are a part of this initiative. She shared with the LG health benefits of donkey milk and the high price at which it is sold in the market. Director Organiko sought guidance and assistance of the LG in setting up the Donkey Conservation Park.
Meanwhile, another delegation led by vice-president, Primus Partners, Pooja Lahri, met the LG to submit a report titled ‘Ladakh: Unleashing Potential’ prepared by them in collaboration with ASSOCHAM.
