Delegation of clerical staff meets Chief Secretary

JAMMU, June 17: The deputation of Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh All Department Clerical Staff Association led by Babu Hussain Malik, State president, met Chief Secretary, B R Sharma and other officials and discussed their demands.
The convenor members secretary gave an assurance to settle the pending demands of pay anomalies of the clerical cadre and also submitted a memorandum to the committee which included removal of pay anomalies of clerical cadre by giving grade of 4000-6000 to Junior Assistants and 4500-7000 to senior Assistants and 5500-9000 to Head Assistants and Junior Stenographers.
Babu Hussain Malik also discussed the pay anomalies with committee members to implement the orders of High Court vide SWP No. 3058/2015 MP at the earliest. The Court has given two months time to the Government to remove the anomalies of the clerical cadre but even after the lapse of five months nothing has been said or done in this case.
The deputation also met Gazanffar Hussain, Commissioner /Secretary Finance, Mohd Ashraf Mir, Commissioner/Secretary Law and Mohd Rafi Indrani, Director Codes.
Khurshid Ahmed Dewani, Javid Ahmed Akhoon, Munish Sharma, Raj Mohd, Tanveer Ahmed, Vikas Sharma, Jaswant Singh and Seva Ram Rathore accompanied the delegation.
