JAMMU, Jan 18: Bharatiya Janata Party leader Dr Darakhshan Andrabi has demanded that in view of steep fall in the prices of diesel and petrol, the State Governor should take immediate decision on decreasing the transport fare and freight charges of public transport and goods carriers.
Expressing happiness on yet another slash in the rates of petrol and diesel in the country, Dr Andrabi claimed that ‘Achhe Din’ have stepped in. While terming this the result of the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Dr Darakhshan said that small changes in the governance by the Prime Minister  have started yielding results in the country.
She said that the inflation disease has been rightly checked by the steps taken by the Modi led Government and now the common man has started reaping the crops of prosperity. “ Those who deny seeing the good days in the country have defective vision,” Dr Andrabi maintained.
She appealed the State Governor N N Vohra to take necessary steps for decreasing freight and fare charges of public transport vehicles and goods carriers as this will directly help in reduction in the prices of vegetables, fruits, pulses, food-grains and other items of daily use to provide some relief to the common man from soaring prices.
