JAMMU, Feb 10: A decomposed body was recovered by Jammu and Kashmir Police here from Tawi River near Moni Baba Ashram, Panjtirthi, Jammu.
Incharge Police Post Panjtirthi, Rahul Sharma told Excelsior that the body has been shifted to the mortuary of the Government Medical College Jammu for conducting the post-mortem.
“Only after the autopsy, the identity of the body and cause of the death could be ascertained,” he said, adding, “meanwhile, we have taken up further investigation under the relevant sections of the law”.
