JAMMU, Mar 18: BJP State president Jugal Kishore Sharma today accused the State Government of the miseries of Kashmiri Pandits.
Addressing a function organized by Panun Kashmir he said the KPs have to face worst times because of the wrong policies and follies of the Governments.
He said the community which is the torch-bearer in the religious cultural field has shown resilience and has contributed to the nationalist cause in all circumstances.
Maintaining that BJP shares the common nationalist ideas with them, Mr Sharma said the party would continue its support to the just demands of the community.
Outrightly rejecting Pakistan’s interference in the internal affairs of India, he demanded that Pakistan should vacate the areas of the State occupied by it in 1947. Further the GoI should seriously consider whether diplomatic relations with Pakistan should continue or not.
Addressing the function Ashwani Kumar Chrungoo, president PK said it is the bounden duty of nationalist forces in the State to espouse the thousands years of old heritage of the State. The raking up of Afzal Guru issue by some vested politicians in the state is a serious challenge and he stressed that GoI should declare Pakistan a terrorist State in the light of its open support to terrorism in J&K.
BJP MLA Ashok Khajuria expressed concern over demographic change in Jammu and termed it a great challenge as some people have encroached the Forest land.
The VHP president Dr Rama Kant Dubey, BJP national Executive Member and Chief Spokesperson of the State, Dr Jitendra Singh, Surinder Mohan Aggarwal, Shakti Dutt Sharma, Ravinder Raina and others addressed the function organized by daughters of PK.
On the occasion Deeneshwar Singh Jamwal, Shriyans Kumar Jain, S. Manmeet Singh and Kanchan Sharma were felicitated.
