JAMMU, Jan 4: Convener Panun Kashmir (PK), Dr. Agnishekher said that it is time to stir the conscience of the nation against continued Jihadi radicalization, to fight against terrorism, and to achieve a Homeland for displaced Kashmiri Hindus to the North and East of River Vitasta with a UT status in Kashmir valley.
Addressing the meeting of PK activists here today he said for this mission Ek Bharat Abhiyan was launched on December 27, 2015 jointly by Panun Kashmir and scores of well known regional organizations of different states and union territories at Delhi.
The meeting took stock of the preparations for a three day programme/ event coinciding with 19th January 2017 the Kashmiri Hindu Holocaust Day.
He said a massive public campaign was also launched by conducting a series of public rallies, seminars, press conferences and exhibitions at numerous cities throughout the country jointly by P K and different organizations representing particular areas. “Our cherished resolution Margdarshan -91 was adopted by Panchayat sabhas, bar councils, Taluka sabhas besides different oganisations.
Dr. Agnishekher said that the first leg of mission Ek Bharat Abhiyan had reached its culmination and will be observed around January 19 this year , the Holocaust Day by Panun Kashmir in a big way.
The activists were informed by the organizers of the event that a massive public mobilization had already been launched in terms of delegate registration, public meetings and massage/ pamphlet distribution. Emphasizing the need of organizing such event Dr. Ajay Chrungoo Chairman Panun Kashmir said that it has become a critical imperative to take the message of Panun Kashmir to the whole of India in order to create an enlightened public opinion about what has been happening in Jammu and Kashmir for decades now. Panun Kashmir strongly feels that time has come to recognize Panun Kashmir demand as a national imperative. “We appeal all community brethren to make this event a grand success by participating along with friends, relatives and family members”. He also appealed to the inmates of Jagti displaced camp to make the mass public rally of Panun Kashmir a grand success by their participation in full numbers scheduled for 18th January. Dr. Ajay asked the activists to reach each and every house hold to explain the necessity of Ek Bharat Abhiyan. He said that 19th January is a day of protest and I appeal every Nationalist to impress upon the Govt. of India to declare this day as National Holocaust day. He also appealed to the masses to proceed on leave on this particular day as a mark of protest and solidarity with displaced people.
