Death toll in Tata Sumo accident reaches 5

RAMBAN, July 12: The death toll in Senabathi Tata Sumo accident has reached five as one more injured succumbed at Sher-e-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS), Soura, Srinagar on Saturday.
It is pertinent to mention here that yesterday four persons were killed and two others sustained critical injuries when a Tata Sumo bearing registration JK14C-2038 plunged into a deep gorge.
Six persons including the driver of the vehicle were onboard the vehicle when the accident took place.
The two injured who were shifted to GMC Anantnag from SDH Banihal last night where later on shifted to SKIMS, Soura where Shakeel Ahmad Butt, 24, son of Rashid Butt, residents of Gujrara, Paristan succumbed to his injuries.
Meanwhile, last rites of all the five deceased persons were performed at their native places in Senabathi in which hundreds of people participated.
