JAMMU, Oct 10: Seventh death anniversary of Sahib Kanshi Ram, founder of BAMCEF, DS-4 and Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), was observed at District Headquarter Reasi under the chairmanship of party leader Dharam Pal Balgotra.
BSP State Coordinator, Gurnam Singh was the chief guest while Rattan Kumar Bhagat, Coordinator, Udhampur-Kathua Lok Sabha, was the guest of honour.
All the BSP leaders paid rich tribute to Sahib Kanshi Ram by garlanding his portrait.
While paying tributes to Kanshi Ram, BSP leaders elucidated his life and struggle in taking the caravan of Baba Sahib Dr BR Ambedkar to the logical end.
They also criticized the State Government led by Omar Abdullah for not mitigating the grievances of the common masses and appealed the people to unite themselves under the banner of BSP.
