JAMMU, Mar 6: The dead body of an unidentified woman is lying in the mortuary of Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu since March 2 and is yet to be identified.
“The woman was hit and seriously injured by a speeding unknown vehicle on March 2 while she was crossing the road at Last Morh, Gandhi Nagar. She was immediately taken to GMCH Jammu, but was declared as brought dead by the doctors,” a police official said.
He said that the body of the woman could not be identified and is still lying in mortuary of the Hospital. Stating that the woman is about 50-55 years-old, 5 feet 4 inches tall, wheatish in complexion and is wearing Red colour Salwar-Kamiz, the official said that any information about her residential and identical particulars may be communicated to police station Gandhi Nagar.
