KATHUA, Jan 30: An unidentified body of a middle aged male was recovered from bushes in the island of river Ujh today near Dhani Bhakta village by Raj Bagh Police.
According to police the dead body is four five days old. It said some passers by saw the body lying in bushes and they informed Police Post Jakhol falling under Raj Bagh Police Station. Later a police team visited the area and took the body into its custody. The body is lying in mortuary at District Hospital Kathua. The Police has informed the near by local police stations for identification of the body.
The police said the person might have been washed away in the flash floods of river Ujh that lashed the area five -six days back and was caught in the bushes in the island after water level receded.
