Doda, Feb 7: District Development Commissioner Doda Bhawani Rakwal today reviewed the progress and pace of work on major projects of the district in a meeting with heads of various executing agencies.
Chief Planning Officer Doda, Superintending Engineer PWD (R&B) Circle Doda, General Manager JKPCC Doda, Executive Engineer PWD (R&B) Division Doda/ Bhaderwah/ Gandoh, Chief Medical Officer Doda, AD Planning Doda besides others officer attended the meeting.
In the meeting, detailed deliberations were held on the execution of works on all the major projects in the district. DC directed all the executing agencies to work in coordination with the administration and ensure that all the timelines are met.
Earlier, executing agencies raised various issues pertaining to their sectors like clearances, court cases and encroachments on certain tracts on which DC instructed to bring issue to his office for taking it with appropriate authorities for suitable outcome.
DDC directed to GM JKPCC to make the Court Complex ready so that it could be inaugurated soon. He directed for completion of Indoor Sports Hall at Doda by 30th June 2018 besides asked the concerned authorities for finishing of first floor of Mini Secretariat building by the end of this month.
He asked for speedy completion of PHC Bhalla ground floor and directed to complete it within 15 days in all respect whereas for completion of Old District Hospital Doda completion a target of one month was given to concerned agency.
Besides, the work on Degree College Kilohtran was also assessed and executing agency was directed to finish work shortly so that classes could be started by 30th March 2018. He directed to complete the administrative block of Government Polytechnic College Beoli by 31 March 2019 besides Truck terminal up to March 2018, added DDC.
