RAJOURI, Aug 20: In order to take stock of basic urban infrastructure, District Development Commissioner, Mohammad Aijaz Asad, today visited Jawahar Nagar area of district Rajouri.
The DDC visited old DIET, Indra Children Park and Irrigation Store.
At Old DIET, Vice President Municipality Rajouri Bharat Bushan along with the locals demanded construction of a marriage hall there.
The DDC during his visit to irrigation store directed the EO MC Rajouri to prepare a project for establishing parking slot to facilitate the people Jawahar Nagar area.
The Executive Engineer PWD was directed to prepare a DPR for widening work on road near CMO office.
The DDC also visited Indra Park where the locals demanded construction of road from the park to Dhanidhar.
The DDC was accompanied by Executive Engineer PWD Rajouri division, Executive Engineer PHE Rajouri division, Executive Officer Municipality Rajouri, Assistant Regional Transport Officer, Assistant Executive Engineer I&FC and other concerned officers.
