POONCH, July 1: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Poonch has suspended Shehnaz Ahmed, Assistant Engineer, PMGSY Mendhar with immediate effect for non-payment of wages to labourers engaged in Suran-Jaranwali-Mendhar road.
The order in this connection was issued recently after some labourers engaged in work of Suran-Jaranwali-Mendhar road, complaint of non-payment of wages. The DDC has also constituted a committee comprising Additional District Development Commissioner (chairman), Executive Engineer PMGSY Mendhar (member) and Assistant Labour Commissioner (member) which will submit a detail report of charges leveled against the erring official within five days.
