DDC member among others join Apni Party

JAMMU/ SRINAGAR, Feb 13: National Conference leader and District Development Council (DDC) Member from Thakrai territorial constituency of district Kishtwar, Shareefa Begum along-with a Sarpanch Farooq Ahmad and hundreds of their supporters today joined Apni Party at its office in Kishtwar.
The joining took place in presence of Apni Party Provincial vice president Jammu, Syed Asghar Ali. Other leaders of Apni Party who attended this occasion included Advocate Zulqarnain, Sheikh Abdul Lateef, Waseem Maker, Shahid Hussain Bhat, Aamir Naqib and Abdul Gani Shah.
Welcoming the new entrants into the party fold, Asgar Ali stated that Apni Party is open to all the political aspirants who have a vision to serve and work for the welfare of the people in Jammu and Kashmir.
Meanwhile, a delegation of Panchayat members from SK Bagh, Nowgam today joined Apni Party at the Party office in Lal Chowk, Srinagar.
The Panchayat members who joined Apni Party included, Mohammad Sadiq Dar (Sarpanch SK Bagh), Ghulam Mohi-ud-din Dar (Panch, SK Bagh), Altaf Hussain Dar (Panch, SK Bagh), Firdous Ahmad Bhat (Panch, Nowgam-B), Ghulam Ahmad Haroon (Panch, Nowgam-B) along with scores of political activists.
The joining ceremony took place in presence of Apni Party Provincial president Mohammad Ashraf Mir, DDC Chairperson Malik Aftab, State secretary and District president Budgam Muntazir Mohi-ud-din, DDC vice chairperson Bilal Bhat, Media advisor Farooq Andrabi and Youth leader Javid Junaid.
Mir welcomed the new entrants into the party fold and urged them to highlight and resolve the issues in their respective Panchayat zones.
He said that resolving the grievances of the people are the prime concerns of an elected Panchayat member.
