GANDERBAL, Sept 8: District Development Commissi-oner Ganderbal, Shyambir today chaired the 24th Building Operation and Controlling Authority (BOCA) meeting of Sonamarg Development Authority (SDA) here today.
The meeting was attended by Chief Town Planner Kashmir, Chief Executive Officer (Member Secretary) SDA, Regional Director Ecology and Environment, Srinagar, Exen R&B, DFO, Sindh Forest Division, Representatives of Army and other concerned officers.
The purpose of the meeting was to consider granting of permission for repair and renovation cases of various Army establishments in Sonamarg area as per the order issued by the Hon’ble High Court.
During the meeting deliberations were held on agenda points and after discussing various aspects for granting permission to the Army for repair and renovation the committee decided various cases on merit.
The DDC asked the representative of the Army to strictly adhere to the permission granted and devise a mechanism and share the details with SDA so that better regulation is achieved and no illegal construction is raised.
