DODA, Apr 26: District Development Commissioner, Doda Mubarak Singh today convened a meeting to review the developmental activities and schemes implemented by various departments in the district.
The DDC reviewed the physical and financial achievements of Agriculture, Horticulture, PDD, PWD, PHE, Irrigation, ICDS, Rural Development, Industries, Health, Education and other important sectors. The chair was informed that against an annual District Plan outlay of Rs.7811.01 lakh an amount of Rs. 7774.11 lakh has been expended during the year 2012-13 which aggregates to about 99.53 percent. The officers of the concerned sectors were directed to gear up the developmental activities so that the benefits of these schemes and activities may percolate to the common masses.
Mr. Singh said that regular monitoring of the construction and developmental works is important for their time bound completion and quality of works and directed the officers to work with honesty and dedication and come up to the expectations of the public.
Among others, Additional District Development Commissioner Doda G.N Balwan, Additional Deputy Commissioner Doda Anil Koul, Assistant Commissioner Revenue Doda Niraj Kumar, Assistant Commissioner Development Doda Rakesh Kumar, Chief Planning Officer Doda Dr. Yassir Balwan besides officers of the concerned departments participated in the meeting.
DDC exhorted upon the officers to expedite the pace of development works and achieve the tangible targets to facilitate the people and also emphasized for redressing their grievances at their doorsteps.
