RAMBAN, Apr 9: District Development Commissioner Ramban, Farooq Shah Bukhari today distributed scotties among the two handicapped beneficiaries.
Among others, District Social Welfare Officer Ramban, Varunjeet Singh Charak and large number of people were present on the occasion.
DSWO apprised that scooties have been provided to the beneficiaries who are handicapped with more than 60 % physical deformity and feel difficulty in moving from one place to another place.
DDC while handing over the scooties to the beneficiaries namely Mohd Arif Katoch (student) and Prem Nath (Tailor master ) said that people should come forward from all walks of life especially the downtrodden for taking benefits of the social welfare and other schemes run by the Central and State Governments for their upliftment.
