SAMBA, Dec 14: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Samba, Sheetal Nanda today convened a public grievance redressal camp at block Ghagwal.
The camp was attended by ACD Samba Tilak Raj, SDM Ghagwal Charanjeet Singh, Tehsildar Ghagwal Rajni, BDO Ghagwal Bhawani Atri, sectoral officers, Sarpanchs, Panchs and villagers from Surara, Karaki, Krimchi, Ghungad and Barah.
Locals of the area presented various grievances and demands on the occasion which include early completion of pending road projects from Bus Stand Surara to Ratanpur, Solha and Dassian , augmentation of water and power supply, adequate medicine supply and other facilities at PHC Nichla.
DDC after giving a patient hearing to the demands and grievances of the people directed the concerned officers to take necessary action and immediate redressal of the grievances. She assured the people that their genuine demands and grievances will be redressed in a phased manner.
Later, DDC inspected High School Nichla and directed CEO Samba to ensure that toilets in schools are functional.
