JAMMU, May 7: A workers meeting was organized by the working president, District Congress Committee Udhampur, Sumeet Magotra in which several public problems were highlighted by the speakers.
While addressing the meeting, Magotra extended gratitude to workers for their active participation in ongoing Parliament election for Udhampur-Kathua-Doda Parliamentary Constituency. He hoped for the impressive victory of INDI Alliance candidate and senior Congress leader Ch Lal Singh.
In connection with public problems highlighted by the speakers Magotra expressed that J&K UT Government has totally failed to provide basic facilities to the people. He disclosed that just after elections of Udhampur-Kathua-Doda Parliament Constituency, UT Administration has imposed heavy curtailment of electricity and irregular supply of drinking water has resulted inconvenience to the public during these hot summer days. Magotra said that BJP has no concern with public problems and dividing the society on communal basis which is dangerous for the integration of the country.
The meeting was also addressed by Sunil Gupta, Gopal Khajuria, Sanjay Sharma, Ex-Sarpanch Manmohan Raina, Ex- Sarpanch Rampal Bhagat, Ex- Sarpanch Sohan Lal, Rajinder Singh Jamwal, Rajesh Gupta, Gunzar Singh, Shanker Verma and others.
