DC Udhampur visits hospital, interacts with Doctors

UDHAMPUR, Apr 18: To take stock of the preparedness at District Hospital Udhampur to combat the spread of pandemic Coronavirus COVID-19 in the district, District Development Commissioner, Udhampur Dr. Piyush Singla visited the District Hospital Udhampur where he inspected the available infrastructure today.
During his visit, he took a detailed review of all the preparedness and available infrastructure in the Hospital for dealing with Coronavirus patients. He directed the Medical Superintendent to furnish the requirement of all urgently required equipments so that the funds can be released at an earliest.
The DDC asked Medical Superintendent to submit requirement for making 16 to 20 bed ICU/CCU units functional in the District Hospital to face any eventuality which may arise in coming days. The SE Mechanical was asked to expedite the procurement of required material and equipments for establishment of Critical Care Unit (CCU) immediately so that CCU can be established in the District Hospital. DDC also interacted with Doctors of District Hospitals and enquired about the functioning of the Hospital. DDC stressed on following the SOP while attending the patients.
CPO Rajeev Bhushan , CMO Udhampur Dr KC Dogra and other officers also accompanied the DDC.
