SRINAGAR Apr 29: Deputy Commissioner, Pulwama, Neeraj Kumar, today suspended 65 Government officials of various district headquarter offices who were absent from duty.
Neeraj Kumar told Excelsior that the offices of Executive Engineer Irrigation and Executive Engineer STD at Pulwama were found locked during the inspection. He said that majority staff of the other offices was absent from duty.
The offices that were inspected besides two Engineering Department offices are Chief Education Office, Chief Medical Officer’s office, District Social Welfare Office, Sale Tax office, ICDS office and Block Development Office.
