DC signs MoU with CIL for trauma centre

LEH, Aug 26: Deputy Commissioner, Simrandeep Singh today signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Coal India Limited for setting up a Trauma Centre in Khaltsi Sub-Division of Leh at an estimated cost of 16.50 crore.
The CIL was represented by its General Manager, Ajit Kumar. The CIL is funding this project as a part of its Corporate Social Responsibility and the project is scheduled to be completed in 24 working months of Leh. The project will benefit numerous accident victims on the Leh -Srinagar Highway.
The Deputy Commissioner assured that all the commitments made in the MoU would be fulfilled. Tashi Dolma, ACR and Tsering Angchuk, CPO were also present on the occasion.
