RAMBAN, Jan 15: Deputy Commissioner Ramban, Mohammad Alyas Khan today chaired a comprehensive review meeting to assess the progress of ongoing developmental works in the district.
The meeting was attended by Chief Planning Officer, Dr. Shakeeb Ahmed Rather; Executive Engineers of PWD (Ramban and Banihal) Jal Shakti, JPDCL, PMGSY and REW, besides Chief Medical Officer, Chief Education Officer, CAHO, Executive Officer Municipal Council and other concerned officers.
The Deputy Commissioner set timelines for the completion of the development works taken up under the District Capex Budget and other schemes. He directed the officers of executing departments to submit daily progress reports and focus on achieving 100 percent physical and financial targets.
The DC specifically directed the Executive Engineers of PWD, REW, Jal Shakti and JPDCL to ensure completion of works related to Education, Health, Minor Irrigation, Water Supply Schemes, Youth Services & Sports, Urban Local Bodies and other key sectors. The CMO and other concerned officers were instructed to closely follow up on the progress of projects of their respective departments.
The Deputy Commissioner also resolved several issues hindering the pace of work and issued necessary directions to the concerned officers.
