RAMBAN, Aug 9: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ramban Tariq Hussain Ganie today convened a meeting of revenue officers to take stock of working and performance of the department.
The meeting was attended by ADC Angrez Singh, ACR Vivek Puri, SDM Gool Pankaj Balotra, Tehsildars and Niab Tehsildars.
Officers were instructed for early completion of land acquisition process, preparation of Jambandi, attestation of mutations. Tehsildars were impressed upon to galvanize Girdawars and Patwaris of their jurisdictions to achieve the set targets for each process.
They were directed to submit inheritance mutations details with proper verification as per death record of chowkidar register besides submitting the village wise detail of eviction of land encroachments.
They were also directed to conduct camp in their respective tehsils for which the date was fixed as August 21.
The DC stressed upon the officers to launch massive drive to remove encroachments on State land. The DC directed officers to proactively work for timely disposal of applications and submission of information under PSGA to his Office so that such cases are disposed off within the prescribed period.
