KARGIL, July 27: Deputy Commissioner/CEO LAHDC, Kargil Shrikant Balasaheb Suse, today presided over a meeting to review the progress and to address issues pertaining to various projects undertaken by NHIDCL in the district.
The meeting was attended by ACR Kargil, Muhammad Sharief, SE PWD, Abdul Mutalib, General Manager NHIDCL, Kargil, Col A K Shiv Kumar, and other concerned officers and officials.
The General Manager of NHIDCL, Kargil, presented a comprehensive overview of all the projects in the district, including the Kargil-Zanskar Road (NH-301) project, and apprised the meeting about the progress.
Particular attention was given to the status of land acquisition under the Kargil-Zanskar Road (NH-301) project, along with matters concerning alignment, compensation, and grievances of the local population. These crucial aspects of the project were discussed in detail.
In response to the concerns raised during the meeting, the DC directed the concerned officials to promptly address public grievances on a case-by-case basis, ensuring smooth progress on the project.
