BARAMULLA, Nov 16: Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Dr G.N Itoo today inspected various health institutions of the district.
During visit, the DC inspected Trauma Hospital Pattan where he was informed that a special Central Heating Plant has been installed to beat the chill of winter season. The DC also interacted with patients and attendants who appraised him about their grievances and demands.
Dr Itoo then checked PHC Kunzer where the concerned authorities demanded installation of X-Ray and USG machines, construction of additional block besides proper fencing of the hospital.
He also inspected Sub-District Hospital Tangmarg and took review of various medical and other requisite facilities.
The DC directed the concerned to facilitate every kind of amenity to the patients without any inconvenience. He directed to procure the sufficient quantities of necessary drugs and medicines especially in view of the current season so that patients may not suffer.
The DC also directed to facilitate adequate heating, lighting and other necessary arrangements for the patients.
