Reasi, Jan 14: Under the Central Sponsored Scheme, Mission for Integrated Development of Horticulture (MIDH), a group of 32 farmers was flagged off for an exposure-cum-training within State.
The tour was flagged off by the Deputy Commissioner Reasi Shabir Ahmad Bhat in a simple but impressive function.
The tour is being organized by Horticulture Department and the farmers will visit different regions of the state .Major thrust of this visit will remain on dissemination of technology to know about modern scientific know & how and applied technology in horticulture sector.
Speaking on the occasion, DC Reasi stressed upon the farmers to take full advantage of such programs. Chief Horticulture Officer Susheel K Angurana briefed DC about the program and also interacted with the farmers.
