KISHTWAR, Feb 11: To augment the healthcare facilities in the district, Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Ashok Kumar Sharma today flagged off three fresh Advanced Life Support (108 service) Ambulances here from DC office complex.
The DC inquired about the facilities in the ambulance, besides sought details about the staff that shall run the machines during the emergency times.
The CMO Dr R.S Manhas, informed the DC that all requisite emergency machinery including ventilator etc are fitted in the ambulance. Besides, an emergency dealing technician for each ambulance has been outsourced by the company.
He said the three new ALS 108 Ambulances will serve in Massu, Drabshalla and Kishtwar areas.
Among others present were Dy CMO Dr Balbir Singh, Area Operation Manager Viqar Lone, besides other concerned were also present.
