KISHTWAR, Nov 20: Deputy Commissioner, Baseer Ahmed Khan today directed the SP to lodge FIR against those involved in encroachment of land near CAPD godown in the town.
Official sources said that some people noticed encroachment on the land adjoining CAPD godown and brought the matter to the notice of concerned Assistant Director. However, no action was taken against the encroachers prompting the people to raise hue and cry over the encroachment attempts.
Following the public resentment, the complaint about encroachment reached the Deputy Commissioner, who forwarded the same to SP Kishtwar for registration of FIR and action against the encroachers.
Sources said that Deputy Commissioner has taken the inaction on the part of CAPD authorities very seriously.
