DC clears rent assessment cases

SAMBA, Apr 12: Deputy Commissioner Samba, Anuradha Gupta today held a meeting of Rent assessment Committee and cleared all cases pending from last seven years with respect to the department of Food & Civil Services and Consumer Affairs Department.
Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Jitinder Mishra; AD CAPD, Mukhter A Lone; X-En PWD, PHE besides other concerned private owners of buildings attended the meeting.
It was informed that Rent assessments committed were not held from last 7 years for the department of Food & Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs sectoral offices.
The DC held discussion with private building owners and assured that the Rent assessed by the executing agency shall be disbursed immediately.
The buildings of Tehsil supply offices in Bari Brahmana, Smailpur, Raya, and Jasalth were cleared during the meeting.
DC Samba also laid emphasis upon holding the assessment committee regularly for redressing the grievances of the general public.
