JAMMU, Dec 16: In a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) regarding illegal constructions being carried around Railway Station at Katra, Division Bench of State High Court comprising Chief Justice MM Kumar and Justice Tashi Rabstan today directed Deputy Commissioner Reasi to strictly comply with the directions.
After hearing battery of lawyers, the DB observed, “reply on behalf of Deputy Commissioner, Reasi has been filed and the same has been taken on record. Advocate Ajay Sharma has also filed a report showing the ongoing construction in respect of already sealed buildings”.
Accordingly, DB directed that order dated 10.12.2014 be strictly complied with and in case, there is any violation of the order and the construction is in progress in respect of already sealed buildings, effective steps be taken to stop such construction, failing which, Deputy Commissioner, Reasi will be held personally responsible.
