JAMMU , Dec 24: In a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) filed by Prof S K Bhalla against allegedly hushing-up of Chatta-Sunjwan land scam, Division Bench of State High Court comprising Chief Justice MM Kumar and Justice Dhiraj Singh Thakur today directed the Divisional Commissioner to file status report before next date of hearing.
After hearing Advocate SS Ahmed with Advocate Suraj Singh for the PIL whereas AAG HA Siddiqui and AAG Seema Shekhar appearing for the State, DB observed, “status report on behalf of Divisional Commissioner, Jammu is still awaited and needful shall be now done in terms of order dated 10.12.2014 before the next date of hearing with a copy in advance to the counsel opposite”.
